Probably the warmest new years eve I ever encountered! Usually at this height one would only see white snow instead of green grass.
No problem though, the light was spot on.

The positive aspect of winter (apart from the beauty, the snow, and many other things) is that even if you don't like to get up early in the morning, you still can enjoy all the sunrises there are :)

I will surely miss this view from my roof window when I move out of the appartement at the end of the month. The evening colors were almost always stunning.

The last clouds are illuminated by the sun's light and soon it's going to be dark for another 14 hours. This is an area called Seeland in Switzerland, famous for the three lakes and flat character (for Switzerland at least).
